Global Awareness
Global Awareness is an ability to understand, respect and work well with people from diverse cultures is increasingly important for social and academic success in an interconnected world. The idea behind global awareness is to create global citizens who are open to those raised in different countries, cultures and religious settings.

What will children learn?
In these lessons students will learn what is meant by global awareness. They will explore the global issues that are affecting us today and ways in which they think they can help. They will participate in activities that promote global awareness such as learning about other cultures through music, food and language.
